Stupid things to do on a hot day. I have just had a race at Jarrow. Thankfully only over 800 metres. Some idiots decided to run 5000 metres on the track. I also did the high jump and triple jump. Normally I would needs to warm up for a race. Today it was a warm down. I did wear the black Undertones lobster t-shirt though between events.

Willam and Harry. Well, earlier this summer we went walking/camping in Norfolk. Walking along the top of one of the sea defenses we noticed a group of six 'casual but very smart' people on the road below. The police motorbike and unmarked police car on the road, the latter the group went and talked to, looked very odd in what was basically the middle of nowhere. We actually had to slow down or we would have walked right through the middle of the group. So basically we followed then for about thirty minutes, some 100m away. When the group reached the sea the two Princes walked along the beach alone and we basically followed them by walking along the adjacent shingle bank. The beach was deserted. I did take a photo but didn't want to make too big a deal of things with my camera in case I got picked off by a police marksman or something! Quite surreal really. I wonder where my Knighthood is?

Cliff: Are you my brother?! I have to check to be sure, but I can recall my mum saying she had been asked out on a date by Terry Venables too! Can't remember if she went on it or not. I'll have to ask her to find out.

..and Albion are bottom, nothing new there either.Useless wankers.Now I feel better.

Teenage Kicks video just shown on VH1 Classic! Interestingly, it was shown as taken from the album, Teenage Kicks The Best of the Undertones. What is John doing wondering around behind Billy and doesn't Micky look uncomfortable?

Kenny: The 'THERE GOES NORMAN' video has indeed been found after 23 years and will apppear on the DVD of 'Teenage Kicks The Undertones' due for release in Oct 2003 as well as the other 6 videos, all restored, cleaned up etc etc. We will also have loads of the 'extras' on the DVD. Keep a look out for further news on the .com site and of course here on the .net site!
