I forgot, I reviewed Vinny's DVD on Amazon as well - memory's going - that happens after you're 40.

I saw the ad on ITV just before the Premiership. The voiceover sounded more like an impreession of James Nesbitt than the real thing and was very stilted in a '...5lbs of spuds for 99p...' kinda way. Hope your daugghter gets well soon, Lewis.

from what you say the TPE track sounds like Catch a fire. This could be good - name that tune using the might of the internet.

Got the best of CD today. the DVD trailer for the film is excellent. Cant wait to scroll down the menu bar on that and see the extras especially 'There goes norman' and to be able to select a scene that says 'Get over you' 1979. Havent seen the album trailer yet on TV. Laughed last night watching University Challenge (I'm no cabbage) - one of the questions was name these bands who all started at CGGB's in NY. They had Blondie -starter for 10, Talking Heads, Patti Smith then Sheena is a punk rocker. the TUC got all 4 but lost the game - shame.

Just viewed the TV advert at .com site. great footage but a terrible voiceover. Is the new album on vinyl as well as CD?

Stote: Ah, that would explain where it went! Actually I thought your review was a bit negative. :-) Perhaps we should all go and write reviews for it? Does anyone know how to access the 'midweek chart' that I think gets made up, to see where The Best Of is?

Saw Best Of with great write up in New Releases in local MVC shop today (and is 'recommended' on their website) and is top of 'This weeks releases' list in Sainsbury's store (and only £9.99 for cd/dvd). Good review on HMV website and at 40 in the Tesco album chart.

The 'Best of..' has a write up from Mick Houghton which is exactly the same as the one he used for 'All Wrapped Up' except he stuck a bit on to the end.

Wonder where it is in the Netto Chart?

It's number 1 in the Cactus chart this week. I think it's going to be there for about a month.

Never thought to look in Sainsburys and I was in there tonight but had just bought mine 20 mins earlier from HMV at 12.99. It was the same price in WHS and Woolies. Cool packaging. Would have been a good marketing ploy for the gigs if I'd had some yellow stickers with the gig details and stuck them all on the CDs. How come it doesn't mention on the inside they're releasing a brand new album? Hopefully everyone will log into the website and discover this for themselves.

Just checked out the leedsgigs website and they have posted my entry about the Cockpit gig. I spotted it was missing and decided to let them in on the best news in Leeds for 20-some years! Will proceed with marketing plan and email local radio next.

I hate Netto; one of their delivery lorries wrote off a minbus from work I had parked outside one of it's car parks two years ago. Needless to say it didn't make good on the damage. Prats! Give me Aldi anyday...

Prefer Netto over Aldi. nearest Netto is only 200 yards from work. See Vinny's DVD is to feature Michael Bradley in New York. Hopefully describing where they are to play next St Patrick's day. Just seen advert on C5.
