Better be on our best behaviour for Sheffield. I see the Police are trying out a scheme where they can take photos of suspects or get photos passed to them from CCTV using a small mobile phone/computer type device. If we could get our hands on one we could relay the gig to all non attendees. Cliff on 10:02 5th-Nov-03 GMT #934-25014 Thats sound advice Cactus...and don't forget to bring those exotic plants indoors thru these cruel winter months. Jackie on 10:03 5th-Nov-03 GMT #dd5-25015 Doubt I could make Glasgow on the Friday (long drive after work) but Edinburgh would be easy peasy on the Saturday. Good excuse for a days shopping. Last time I saw the Tones in Edinburgh I had to leave during Julie Ocean to catch the last train home, aged about 15.Happy days (well I wasnt that night!) casbahmark @ on 23:12 5th-Nov-03 GMT #fdf-25016 Just want to let you know that all tickets are being sent out today for the 20th December gig @ The Casbah. Without wanting to sound desperate, I advise anybody who wants one/twenty to contact me asap...the phone calls are getting ridiculous and i expect to sell a load more after tonite's gig, Three Men & Black. You can contact me on... 01142 756077 or foto_dj2002@yahoo.com mark x x x casbahmark @ on 23:11 5th-Nov-03 GMT #fdf-25017 wayne...and anybody else thinking of staying overnight. Try another hotel. 'Bloke I spoke to at the venue wanted to now why on earth I wanted to see the Undertones??!!' tell me his name and i'll sack him !!! mark x x x Lee on 12:47 5th-Nov-03 GMT #64a-25019 The best thing about gardening is disappearing into it on a Saturday afternoon with the radio to listen to the footie! You can't win you lot! Football and The Undertones go hand in hand. Recently bought my eldes his first Subbuteo kit - must drag out the MPC sleeve to show him. Liam on 13:30 5th-Nov-03 GMT #3b0-25020 You may be right Lee. But it does seem that SOCCER and talking shit also tend to go hand in hand with some people. donald on 13:34 5th-Nov-03 GMT #a4b-25021 Talking about soccer is the ultimate in shite talking. To summarise football so it doesnt have to be talked endlessly on what is a music site (think of new people to this site, they would think they were in the wrong place). Scottish football - Celtic or Rangers will win the league and do poorly in Europe. English league - richest team will win probably Man U. Thats all there is too it, no more chat necessary. Off to do some mulching now. Cliff on 15:07 5th-Nov-03 GMT #9d6-25022 I had a lovely drive home this afternoon.I was gonna play The Undertones but instead I decided just to admire those beautiful golden autumn leaves. This really is my favourite time of year. Derek on 17:36 5th-Nov-03 GMT #a73-25023 Hi all. Sorry not been on for a while. Busy at work. Sounds like things moving along nicely with gigs. Unlikely, to go to Glasgow, but Sheffield and Brighton should be okay. See you there. Back to work now, the boss is calling. Lindsay on 17:59 5th-Nov-03 GMT #40e-25024 HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACKIE!!!!!! George on 18:31 5th-Nov-03 GMT #3f3-25025 Happy Birthday Jackie. I'll set off a few fireworks in celebration. Hopefully you'll see them. Why could Guy Fawkes not attempt to drown parliament instead of blowing it up? At least we'd get peace and quiet. wilke on 19:30 5th-Nov-03 GMT #69c-25026 JACKIE HAPPY BIRTHDAY SORRY I FORGOT HAVE A GREAT NIGHT .HOPE YOUR BETTER HALF GOT YOU SOMETHING GREAT TALK SOON SEE YA Jackie on 20:36 5th-Nov-03 GMT #b05-25027 Thankyou, friends *hugs* !!! I'm sure there's more birthdays than people posting here; unless it's just the excitment of it all! Maybe you're like the Queen? Cliff: You really ought to have bought your exotics in already, the risk of frost, even by the sea, is high now. All my little relations are well tucked up in their winter homes by the window now. Cactus on 23:34 5th-Nov-03 GMT #852-25033 Don't forget to try and leave a patch of stinging nettles growing in a sunny place, to help provide this unique food for animals such as Small Tortoiseshell and Peacock butterfly caterpillars. Cactus on 23:35 5th-Nov-03 GMT #852-25034 Two postings and no mention of the Undertones or football. Looks like I'm writing shite but without any actual content.... AlexD on 23:36 5th-Nov-03 GMT #0e2-25035 One down one to go Clifford :)
