That's no way to bring up kids! Cactus on 22:42 16th-Nov-03 GMT #b2f-25148 A few interesting comments from Jake Burns in his book about SLF, to follow. (Unless you read the postings the wrong way up, then you'll have read then already.) Cactus on 22:43 16th-Nov-03 GMT #b2f-25149 It was also around that time that we played a gig in Portrush, which is right on the North Antrim coast and it was at a place called Kelly's, which we played quite a few times. I remember this guy coming up out of the audience saying to me, 'Oh we're in a band from Derry called The Undertones. Can we play a couple of songs before you go on?!' And we said, 'No not really because it's all set up for us.' I think it was Damian, so by that stage I was aware of The Undertones as well. And of course it wasn't that long after we did Suspect Device that they did Teenage kicks with Terry Hooley, which was, and still is, and will always remain, a fantastic record. We heard it and it was like 'Fucking hell they're good.' It's a wonderful record, it just is. Cactus on 22:43 16th-Nov-03 GMT #b2f-25150 Quite nice really. Cactus on 22:45 16th-Nov-03 GMT #b2f-25151 Another quality goalkeeping performance from David James today....
