Great gig, (very) rowdy mosh pit. Will add set list later as off to Cadbury World :)

Rain rain bloody rain!!, it didnt stop all day.Got up early to watch the Rugby, great way to start the day or what?!! drove to Brighton, rain rain rain, found a hotel with large screen and bar all to myself to watch abysmal 0-0 draw, drove to venue, rain rain rain.Got a horrible stitch during 'Gotta Getta',hurt everytime I breathed in,so went halfway back and the sound was superb, really superb.Dropped Stote off, rained all the way home, got to bed at 2.30.

Apparently the band are trying to organize another gig in Bonny Scotland on the Saturday,Feb 10th,Glasgow again or Edinburgh, if not Newcastle.Holland in Feb sounds definate,4 or 5 gigs, AND.....JAPAN!!!! but thats in its early stages. Also the band are now in possession of the original t-shirts,several boxes apparently, these should be on sale at future gigs.(so best all us lads start dieting a bit sharpish).

Just back from Brighton. It was still raining this morning and all the way back. Still great gig last night. I think the band enjoyed themselves too - they even resented to at least one line of swing low sweet chariot ! Paul was in great form. My taxi driver afterwards was at the gig (just a few minutes earlier!) and was very complimentry especially about Paul. Oh Please and Everything but You went down a storm - like old favourites now.

Set very similar to October gigs, opening with Family Entertainment and Thrill Me. I'm sure someone got the set list so I'll leave that to them. Hope everyone had a safe trip home, good to meet you all again, see you at The Garage.

Cliff on 15:37 23rd-Nov-03 GMT #7e3-25242
I thought 'thrill me' went down more like an old favourite, interesting how many knew the words.Wayne got the set list, as you say I think it was exactly the same as October, once again including 'There goes Norman','Girls that dont talk' and 'top 20'...still no room for WSC though ;-(.Once again the rockabilly guitar could not be heard on the live version of 'touch',therefore making it a great song instead of just a good one.

First time we,ve beat the Aussies at anything since the Ian Botham test 20-odd years ago! Don't mention the Rugby League test though.... Anybody seen that Tizer ad with all the red lobsters??

George on 17:16 23rd-Nov-03 GMT #17d-25244
Mentioned the Japanese concerts to my eldest daughter and she wants to go. If not, then I am allowed to go but I have to buy them some toy(s) that will not be available in Britain for months afterwards. It is as if money was no problem! Cliff, what was the weather like for the concert :-)

Lindsay on 18:11 23rd-Nov-03 GMT #e3f-25245
Great to hear the band went down well again in Brighton (despite the rain). Jackie, did you say you have got your ticket for Sheffield as I'm about to send off for mine? Jo - have send you an email about it too. I hate rugby but was glad England won - makes a change for us to win anything!

Cliff on 18:33 23rd-Nov-03 GMT #2e0-25246
Two kids behind me at the gig, after 'TK' but still only halfway thru the set, one of them said 'thats it now apart from MPC',the other replied '..and Jimmy Jimmy'.Then when the band left the stage for the first time one said 'I hope they'll do Mars Bars',the other replied 'that must be all they have left'.Now at this point I could have earned myself hundreds of saddo points by listing atleast 20 other gems that hadnt been played, but somehow I stopped myself.

Jackie on 19:08 23rd-Nov-03 GMT #b05-25247
Yes Lindsay I've got my ticket thanks- sorry I should have ordered yours too.

julius on 22:05 23rd-Nov-03 GMT #7c9-25248
thanks for the gig reviews, very appreciated by those who could not be there, just to hear what went on!!

julius on 22:06 23rd-Nov-03 GMT #7c9-25249
gigs in Holland! what a great news, will have to make all my appointments in february conditional (if the undertones play, appointment is off). Lots of people here waiting for them to come over

julius on 22:09 23rd-Nov-03 GMT #7c9-25250
Me and Stote went to see the Riplets last friday in amsterdam. great gig, it was their first try-out gig with new songs, new keyboardplayer. The Winston Hotel in Amsterdam was packed to the last inch and the band did verry well: great songs, great musical qualities and good stage presentation. Many musicians from other dutch bands were in the crowd

julius on 22:11 23rd-Nov-03 GMT #7c9-25251
