Don't mention the flu. Our youngest has been very ill for 2 weeks. Went to a school nativity last night. There waas a day last week when a quarter of the school was off with a bug that's going around.

Banned subject so non football fans stop reading now! Still revelling in the success on Wednesday - did you go Cliff? Looking forward to another improved performance against the 'ammers tomorrow. Only downside is I'm going to be in Finland when the next round is played - home to Arse er nal and I miss it. Oh well.

No Lee, we're really busy at work so I had to decide United or West Ham.United on Sky and putting the reserves out so I plumped for tomorrow.Definately be at the Arsenal game, but that means missing Sheffield unfortunately as it would mean 2 Undertones gigs and Albion in 4 days.

Never been to Italy. Will probably have a couple of days holiday still to take next March, so looks like I am going to have an enjoyable February/March, unless Venice is flooded by then. Will we be able to call on the pope and ask him what Bono had to say!

Venice is a great place. Was recently there as my surprise 40th present. Wish I could be there again but doubtful as going away for a long Easter break. The rest of you should all try to go. I can just imagine JJ or TK from a gondola or waterbus.

Also George I meant to mention last week I met the still very lovely Clare Grogan at memorabilia at the NEC.
