Just checked the Dutch promoter's website and see that the Saturday date has changed from Sneek to Groningen. Groningen is a big student town in the north of NL - dead quaint but a million miles from civilisation. The good news is that Ryanair flies there from Stansted.

Peelie played 'Please' on 2003-12-11 at 1:16. Its not however listed on his playlist. Describes it as 'A Classic Undertones track'

Went to 2 great gigs in the last 2 days. Buzzcocks on Wednesday were fantastic, 100 mile an hour and songs sounding as magnificent as ever. Last night saw The Doors (Manzarek, Kreiger, and Ian Astbury). They were on for 3 hours solid and sounded wonderful. Never thought I'd hear Doors classics live. Astbury acquitted himself very well without trying to 'do a Morrison' - bit like Paul & Feargal.

Yep, Buzzcocks on Wednesday were on top of their game. Got a very nice scratch on my neck too. The Electric Ballroom's got nice sound but it must be the lightest venue around, there's more light on the audience then the stage. Felt quite self-concious. Another odd thing is no one pogos to the Buzzcocks, as all the songs are too fast; everyone just lurched about like the balls in a pinball game.

Wayne: A hard decision indeed but you've made the wise choice.

I've finally finished the letter E in the never ending job of turning all my vinyl, tapes an CDs into mp3 files. And the top three Es? Echobelly, Eminem and the Ejected. Onto F now.
