This flu has obviously been spread at gigs as I've had it too. At least I was okay for xmas day so I could spend all day playing with my motorised lobster (Jackie you're a star!). Good news about Nott & Brum - and it should be May Day w/e too so even better. Still working on Venice but haven't made it further than Leeds/Bradford yet. Cliff, I agree with you about the 100 best musicals but don't fret, you can sing along to your favourite film on New Years Day (as long as you wear your nun's outfit).

Braved the sales for the first time today (and who says I'm a shopaholic?) Must have been having a bad day as all I got for 6 hours effort was a Chanel mascara and a new frying pan. However my mam came out with a gem- she said 'The Undertones were on University Challenge last night' After I'd stopped choking she told me it was the music round, name the day of the week, of course it was Wednesday Week. Considering my mother is allergic to all forms of music and hasnt heard the Tones since I left home, I was well impressed she got it- 'I said straight away, oh thats the Undertones' Well done mother! Oh and all the members of the Reading University team knew it too. Reckon they should be rewarded with a gig ;-) came out

Having spent a bit more time than usual watching TV recently, I came across a story of simple, Northern folk called Emmerdale. So wasn't I amazed to see Paul earning a few extra pence playing Cain Dingle! Get a hair cut for goodnes sake. :-)
