Musings
This flu has obviously been spread at gigs as I've had it too. At least I was okay for xmas day so I could spend all day playing with my motorised lobster (Jackie you're a star!). Good news about Nott & Brum - and it should be May Day w/e too so even better. Still working on Venice but haven't made it further than Leeds/Bradford yet. Cliff, I agree with you about the 100 best musicals but don't fret, you can sing along to your favourite film on New Years Day (as long as you wear your nun's outfit). JoP on 13:00 30th-Dec-03 GMT #af0-25732 I think I must be the flu carrier - everbody I know has got it except me!! Got back to work yesterday and MY lobster has been kidnapped! JoP on 19:11 30th-Dec-03 GMT #5ab-25735 £20 ransom on my lobster. If I don't pay up, my Damian mouse mat cops it... Jackie on 19:40 30th-Dec-03 GMT #b05-25736 Braved the sales for the first time today (and who says I'm a shopaholic?) Must have been having a bad day as all I got for 6 hours effort was a Chanel mascara and a new frying pan. However my mam came out with a gem- she said 'The Undertones were on University Challenge last night' After I'd stopped choking she told me it was the music round, name the day of the week, of course it was Wednesday Week. Considering my mother is allergic to all forms of music and hasnt heard the Tones since I left home, I was well impressed she got it- 'I said straight away, oh thats the Undertones' Well done mother! Oh and all the members of the Reading University team knew it too. Reckon they should be rewarded with a gig ;-) came out JoP on 19:47 30th-Dec-03 GMT #5ab-25738 Mine got it as well, Jackie! Jo & Jackie's Mums for honorary Humdingers?? Cactus on 20:45 30th-Dec-03 GMT [www.berridge99.freeserve.co.uk/web/eyes/xty.htm] #fb6-25739 Having spent a bit more time than usual watching TV recently, I came across a story of simple, Northern folk called Emmerdale. So wasn't I amazed to see Paul earning a few extra pence playing Cain Dingle! Get a hair cut for goodnes sake. :-) Cactus on 20:47 30th-Dec-03 GMT #fb6-25740 Anyone know who's going to be headlining in Birmingham? Will the other two bands do full sets or shorter 'support act' ones? JoP on 20:58 30th-Dec-03 GMT #5ab-25741 I heard it was the Damned. I think they ought to fight for it. AlexD on 23:50 30th-Dec-03 GMT #69e-25743 Are you on WILKIEVISION yet? Vinny on 01:57 31st-Dec-03 GMT #69c-25744 Heard all about it Alex, but at £20.00 per month with him wearing the Kimono, sounds a bit steep!!?? Vinny on 01:58 31st-Dec-03 GMT #69c-25745 By the way, in case anyone hasn't noticed, I'm timing my 1,000th post for NEW YEAR'S EVE, it's the Scottish blood and all that!! Someone remind me please!! AlexD on 03:32 31st-Dec-03 GMT #69e-25747 WilkeWideCam? £20 is good value for MJ's puppies. I think I'll need two cameras though!! AlexD on 03:43 31st-Dec-03 GMT #69e-25748 Wilke you'd make a great Bond villian, sitting there in your Kimono stroking your white fluffy cat. The Mrs Slocombe joke was too easy !!
