Great stuff Vinny, the extended interviews are brilliant. Laughed at Paul calling us a 'vicious and virulent breed'. The menu's are very clever. Good to see you getting yourself in shot too, in the mirror. The videos are funny, bet there is some cringing watching them again. 5 stars no doubt, and the DVD too.

Major expense at the weekend. The visa bill with all the Christmas presents on it came Saturday morning. Decided we needed to raid the savings account for close on £500 to get to the end of February on a mere pittance. Saurday night TV goes up in smoke and last time it went we decided next time was the last so bought a new bang up to date thingy. Can safely say I'm broke for quite a while to come!

A day off tomorrow so I'll be off to HMV. Much more fuin seeing an Undertones product sitting on the shelf and picking it up in my sweaty palm. No patience for ordering things by post. Saw White Stripes in Gleesga last night - believe the hype, an incredible noise from 2 people on stage. also found Meg rather attractive which is worring cos she did resemble the girl in 'The Ring' films. Great gig but I did keep thinking 11 days I'll be back in this soap free city watching you know who! Who needs a DVD player when you can enter the fourth dimension with a PS2.

I'm a celeb's celebs proving quite an interesting mix. Not sure 'JL' and 'celeb' quite go together but the sight of him, white flesh in those shorts and socks looking like some old geezer you see at the seaside was comical. Simon thought he was funny anyway but my comment that he bore an excellent resemblance to old man Steptoe (JL not my son) was rather lost on an 11 year old. Kerry's permanent face of horror was a delight but how come Jenny Bond gets to wear lippy? Not that I'd be bothered with that if I were there ;)

The DVD booklet is a nice little extra. Worth the money for that alone (as it's unlikely to be included in the video version). You know it makes sense (where's me commission?). Looking forward to my weekend viewing now. Wonder who Norman will be?

Great stuff Alex, I love that interview with Paul on the bus, you can feel that he's still really nervous as it's only August 2000; about 10 months since he took on that task! I also love Mean Fiddler backstage. In fact I like it all!! Commission on the way Donin.

PS Just come back from the secret DVD launch gig here in Derry, went really well and Peel turned up! Great buzz! :-)
