Just thought I'd let you know the latest situation with the King Tuts tickets I had available (via a friend of mine). My friend now has just one left - this is the one that's currently up on Ebay. He may still be happy to sell it privately, especially since there are no bids against it yet. Personally I'd prefer him to sell it outwith Ebay, but it's his decision. If anybody is interested let me know asap and I'll get in touch with him. Ocean @ on 08:23 26th-Jan-04 GMT #5bd-26268 great chatting with you all tonight...... talk soon...maybe see some of ya in nyc. Vinny on 10:20 26th-Jan-04 GMT #69c-26332 Alex; the DVD credits are at the end of the main film credits(don't ask!). Enjoy everyone. I really like the menus. AlexD on 13:01 26th-Jan-04 GMT [dictionary.reference.com/search] #a80-26333 Great stuff Vinny, the extended interviews are brilliant. Laughed at Paul calling us a 'vicious and virulent breed'. The menu's are very clever. Good to see you getting yourself in shot too, in the mirror. The videos are funny, bet there is some cringing watching them again. 5 stars no doubt, and the DVD too. Lee on 13:09 26th-Jan-04 GMT #64a-26334 Major expense at the weekend. The visa bill with all the Christmas presents on it came Saturday morning. Decided we needed to raid the savings account for close on £500 to get to the end of February on a mere pittance. Saurday night TV goes up in smoke and last time it went we decided next time was the last so bought a new bang up to date thingy. Can safely say I'm broke for quite a while to come! wilke on 13:16 26th-Jan-04 GMT #69c-26335 tell what alex sell maureen so she cant come and i will have a great week end .only joking alex i know you WONT LET ME DOWN doninblack only going to the glasgow gig talk soon .yes the dvd is great have to go talk soon see ya pps jackie and lindsay &Jop is whats the sailor thing donald on 13:52 26th-Jan-04 GMT #705-26336 A day off tomorrow so I'll be off to HMV. Much more fuin seeing an Undertones product sitting on the shelf and picking it up in my sweaty palm. No patience for ordering things by post. Saw White Stripes in Gleesga last night - believe the hype, an incredible noise from 2 people on stage. also found Meg rather attractive which is worring cos she did resemble the girl in 'The Ring' films. Great gig but I did keep thinking 11 days I'll be back in this soap free city watching you know who! Who needs a DVD player when you can enter the fourth dimension with a PS2. AlexD on 14:28 26th-Jan-04 GMT #a80-26337 Welcomed back with open razors :) doninblack on 16:07 26th-Jan-04 GMT #ec7-26338 and KTWWH beats SECC every time JoP on 17:23 26th-Jan-04 GMT #d31-26339 That is a very sweeping sexist generalisation, if I may say so Clifford! JoP on 17:25 26th-Jan-04 GMT #d31-26340 Wilke - tap dancing sailors in white bell bottoms and cute little hats. SURELY you can see the appeal? AlexD on 18:07 26th-Jan-04 GMT #a80-26341 Somebody hurry up and do a seamen joke. FFS Jackie on 18:54 26th-Jan-04 GMT #f12-26342 Wayne- be careful with your ALBA DVD player- while I was in the Argos Q the other day (taking back Xmas pressies the kids are already bored with!) I spotted 2 people in the Q with them- having a good maon about how they had broken already and needed their money back! You get what you pay for (most of the time) wilke on 20:43 26th-Jan-04 GMT #69c-26343 maybe if its was demi moore wearing them i might JoP on 21:12 26th-Jan-04 GMT #c3a-26344 Does she tap dance? AlexD on 22:35 26th-Jan-04 GMT #a80-26345 OK I watched a bit. Should Alex Best not be doing the 'Beat the Bird' challenge? Lindsay on 23:05 26th-Jan-04 GMT #2ce-26346 I'm a celeb's celebs proving quite an interesting mix. Not sure 'JL' and 'celeb' quite go together but the sight of him, white flesh in those shorts and socks looking like some old geezer you see at the seaside was comical. Simon thought he was funny anyway but my comment that he bore an excellent resemblance to old man Steptoe (JL not my son) was rather lost on an 11 year old. Kerry's permanent face of horror was a delight but how come Jenny Bond gets to wear lippy? Not that I'd be bothered with that if I were there ;) Lindsay on 23:10 26th-Jan-04 GMT #2ce-26347 Alex Best. Wasn't she married to a footballist? Wayne on 23:38 26th-Jan-04 GMT #24c-26348 No probs here Jackie- sounds like a euphemism for 'the sprog spilled coke in it' ;) AlexD on 00:56 27th-Jan-04 GMT #a80-26349 Apparently you can bet on who shows their breasts first. C'mon Jennie. If you needed a reason to buy the DVD, then how about the Undertones and Britney Spears shocker! Now there's something my vicious and virulent self didn't know. doninblack on 01:22 27th-Jan-04 GMT #0f4-26350 The DVD booklet is a nice little extra. Worth the money for that alone (as it's unlikely to be included in the video version). You know it makes sense (where's me commission?). Looking forward to my weekend viewing now. Wonder who Norman will be? Vinny on 01:32 27th-Jan-04 GMT #69c-26351 Great stuff Alex, I love that interview with Paul on the bus, you can feel that he's still really nervous as it's only August 2000; about 10 months since he took on that task! I also love Mean Fiddler backstage. In fact I like it all!! Commission on the way Donin. doninblack on 01:33 27th-Jan-04 GMT #0f4-26352 Anyone bought tickets for Aberdeen yet, know if there are plenty left? Hoping to get to that one too. Vinny on 01:34 27th-Jan-04 GMT #69c-26353 PS Just come back from the secret DVD launch gig here in Derry, went really well and Peel turned up! Great buzz! :-) Vinny on 01:41 27th-Jan-04 GMT #69c-26354 PPS: Only a wind up, not nice but I felt that I had to do it, isn't that right Alex?
