What's the highest ground in the English League?? I thought it was Oldham but the bloke on Grandstand says it's the 2nd highest. Anyone???? (and YES, I KNOW West Brom are the lowest!!)

So. Ask Jeeves says WBA is at the lowest altitude. Steve's Footy Fax says it's highest. So is it high or low?

Could it be Bolton? And david says he feels like he has climbed the Matterhorn when he gets to his seat at St James's Park....

Wish all the football grounds were below sea level:) How about telling us what cds people got for xmas? I got Green Days new one - susprisingly good and Death in Vegas new one - susprisingly crap (but free live CD from Brixton is total class). Best book was by the Ramones Tour manager of 22 years - Monty Meltnick. As well as loads of great and sad Ramones stories and superb pics, there is lots of trainspotter info on the logistics of a tour. Booking agents, promotors, managers etc and how the Ramones had their monitors set up to the mixing desk. A brilliant book and a great insight into what goes on behind the scenes of a tour. Bit worried when reading about Dee Dee's three some with Seymour Stein and his (ex) wife - is that how Mickey and feargal clinched the deal with Sire?

Good luck Lindsay, regarding your Xmas card, I couldn't read your address.

Funny enough Albion IS the highest ground in Britain.I only found out today that Doina tried to get me the Punk Harmonic CD for Xmas but was told by 2 shops it's been discontinued.I got parallel lines by Blondie.

We're changing the name of the Coffee House, I tried to sell 'Undertones, Bar & Diner' (seriously, I think it sounds good)but she was having none of it.So we settled on the rather dreary, but OK I suppose, 'The Corner House'(yes, its on a corner).
