I've just got a pair from Office - green suede bar shoes edged in dark gold leather with Louis heels and litle buckles. VERY 1920s. Currently weaing them with black seamed tights and a black chiffon skirt. It is making me very happy. Liam on 12:51 14th-Jan-05 GMT #01c-32806 As well as the many artists, who are giving their time for free, a number of businesses and individuals have rallied to the cause. Special thanks should go the Hastings Hotel Group, Translink, flybe, Jurys Doyle Hotels, Kelvin Boyes Photography, DCL Public Relations. Slater Design, FireIMC and Eamonn Holmes. Tickets for RESCUE REMEDY! cost £20.00 each and will be on sale from the Lyric Theatre, Ridgeway Street, Belfast. Box office tel: 028 9038 1081. liam on 12:52 14th-Jan-05 GMT #01c-32807 Karen Gallagher, Deputy Head of Operations for Concern, Northern Ireland said: “May I congratulate the organisers of Rescue Remedy for pulling together an incredible line-up of artists for what promises to be a really memorable night. All proceeds from the evening will go directly to the Concern Tsunami Earthquake Appeal. “Concern is currently working with devastated communities in India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. We are working with local partner organisations to help supply the many thousands of people who have lost everything, with locally sourced materials needed for temporary shelter, blankets, food and water purification kits. We will concentrate our longer term efforts on rebuilding homes and providing fishing boats and equipment for those who have lost their livelihoods.” Liam on 12:53 14th-Jan-05 GMT #01c-32808 'There is ongoing suffering on a massive scale in the developing world,' said Coyle. 'But somehow, this sudden, unimaginable destruction, across thousands of miles and several continents, has stunned us into a response. Perhaps this is the start of making us all a little more thankful for what we have and prompting us to take positive action in the direction of those who have nothing.' Neil Martin had no hesitation in agreeing to take part in the evening and promptly came on board the team of organisers. 'From many angles, today's world is very fragile and imbalanced', he said. 'We all have a part to play in addressing this.' Liam on 12:53 14th-Jan-05 GMT #01c-32809 The idea for the gig came to writer and broadcaster Padraig Coyle when he saw the terrible emerging images of the effects of the earthquake. He mobilised his old sparring partners Grimes, McKee and Martin, with whom he collaborated in the writing of ‘Paradise’ for the Lyric in the summer of 2004. Within no time, they passed the word around their vast network of contacts in the business and the show was on the road. Liam on 12:53 14th-Jan-05 GMT #01c-32810 The first half of the evening will feature cutting edge comedy from Grimes & McKee, whose Christmas show ‘The Nativity – What the Donkey Saw’ sold out the Lyric; Dan Gordon, Tim Loane, Peter Ballance, Shelagh O’Kane and Ian Beattie, currently appearing in ‘Alexander’ alongside Colin Farrell. Liam on 12:54 14th-Jan-05 GMT #01c-32811 The star-studded musical line-up includes the legendary Derry band The Undertones, making a rare appearance on home territory; Dungiven-born singer Cara Dillon, who was a big hit at the 2003 Belfast Festival at Queen’s; musical maestros Neil Martin and Rod McVey; and choral ensemble Cappella Caeciliana. Liam on 12:54 14th-Jan-05 GMT #01c-32812 Musicians, actors, comedians and singers are queuing up to get onto the stage of the Lyric Theatre in Belfast on Sunday 23 January. The occasion is RESCUE REMEDY! - billed as an evening of music and mirth, with all proceeds going to the Concern Tsunami Earthquake Appeal. wilke on 18:33 14th-Jan-05 GMT #e2a-32813 hello .whats the crack. a big happy *& to deboraha vinnys better half] [spelt wrong i know]welcome to the club a bit late but the derry gig was just great .there was a guy there with a quo t shirt lost or what .
