Hi Cliff. I’m still about. You noticed; I’m touched! However, I’m still having trouble thinking straight following West Ham’s promotion and apparent ability to survive a whole session in the Premiership without flirting with danger (so far). As you might imagine, this takes a lot of getting used to, hence I haven't posted much here. My counsellor says I mustn’t think of too many things at once until I’m over the shock.

Cliff fair play- my comments on southerns/London was cheap and did indeed generalise which is what I was trying to pull you up about. I dont think for a minute it was your earlier comments/debates that put Rick or Dave off the site but it did feel that 'talking about gays, hows Rick' wouldn't be likely to intice him back either. Truce called and you will all have realised by my grumpyness I am still off the fags - no jokes please . Jacki, I have been defending Ricks corner but he is ugly as feargal.

I don't think I was generalizing Donald coz I was just refering to Rick, I wasn't saying anything bad about gay people in general.Is calling a gay person 'gay' rude or offensive? But at the same time,I can see where your coming from.....why mention it at all.But I think Rick is the sort of bloke to not take it the wrong way.As I said, if he comes on and says I'm a wanker, I'll hold my hands up(he wouldn't be the first ;-)).BTW, I speak to Dave by e-mail on a fairly regular basis.

Congratulations Terri and Henry - nuts are obviously fine:). I love Feargal but handsome he aint. I spent Burns night in Birmingham and managed to leave my car keys in the neat litttle tray going through security. Buggers want £30 for their return. Also missed out on Morrissey tickets yday. Need some Undertones dates soon./
