JoP, I've just bought some Bloch Stealth dance shoes. I know it's too late to ask for advice after the event, but would you have suggested/recommended them! I was looking for red and white shoes, but ended up buying the red bloch. They look almost like a running shoe.

George - those are probably some of the best you can get! I take it they're the jazz trainer ones with 'hinged' soles aren't they? Good support and good movement. :-)

Review of the View's album on Amazon, complete with Undertones reference. I saw the View last year. It did remind me of the Undertones a little but I'm not really sure why. Will check them out next month again live and report back.

Just worked it out; the View’s Wasted Little DJs sounds really like Teenage Kicks at the start. If I had a band and we got compared in any way with the Undertones, I would immediately split it up; as we would have received the ultimate accolade so there wouldn’t be much point in carrying on.

Can't hear the Undertones AT ALL in the View. Libertines, yes, but nowt else. Still think they're wonderful though. Actually, they were in the Holiday Inn in Camden on Friday (having been banned from every Travel Lodge)asking us to buy them drinks at the bar cos they couldn't get served. Rock n Roll!! :-)
