BAM BAM - Emailed you. I have live recording on casette from the Gweedore Bar that also includes a song - Pale Blue Eyes- performed by John O Neill and Raymond Gorman(TPE) AKA The Dubious Brothers. Also have afew photos and a demo tape recorded in London. The casettes will need to be transferred to digital. bambam on 14:07 23rd-Jan-08 GMT #da3-47348 Vinny that's amazing, I didnt know they had VHS back then ;-) How can I get a copy off you? Mickey I sent you an email, that sounds great I'm sure Raymond would love to hear that too! I may have some of that demo but mine is taped off the radio, I would love to get a better copy. Adding more stuff as I get in gear, I have an interview PJ and Joe did with Mickey Bradley and also a gig broadcast on Radio Foyle with Kitsch is Rich. Joe on 14:07 23rd-Jan-08 GMT #104-47361 Great Video, Alex. Tough crowd to win over in Derry, but they seemed to warm to TK--and Mickey's playing a Ricky . . . Great to see Bam Bam back in circulation. Always thought 'Scraping off the Shine' was TPE-worthy. As for Sparks--that's a great idea--they had some great, artsy, and thankfully humorous songs. Squawk on 14:07 23rd-Jan-08 GMT #b71-47372 Yes, it is utter bollocks Cliff Joe on 14:07 23rd-Jan-08 GMT [www.youtube.com/watch] #104-47388 This one gets my vote for great bass line, minus the punk. julius on 18:46 23rd-Jan-08 GMT #b57-47394 warhead and guns of brixton already got the recognition they deserve. how about the intro to 'ever fallen in love' by buzzcocks or Moondogs 'she's 19' or the adicts 'steamroller' julius on 18:52 23rd-Jan-08 GMT [nl.youtube.com/watch] #b57-47395 most of you will utterly hate this punkband, I am sure, but it is a great track and and good intro. soundquality is poor julius on 18:59 23rd-Jan-08 GMT #b57-47396 I confess to like the madness-version of bittersweet hawk on 19:44 23rd-Jan-08 GMT #b99-47397 I've bought the new Madness single but the version I bought never had 'Bittersweet' on it. I think there are three separate versions of the single - I've placed an order for the one with 'Bittersweet' on it.Cliff - I'll let you know what I think about it later. Wayne on 22:14 23rd-Jan-08 GMT #d06-47398 I got it today. Fired up the phonogram and very unimpressed- distinct lack of passion in Suggs voice. One good thing is the fullsome credit to 'John Joseph O'Neil'[sic] donald on 22:51 23rd-Jan-08 GMT #dd6-47399 Have a soft spot for Cockney rejects, 1st album is brill and calling it Greatest Hits Vol 1, brilliant. Suggs sounds like he's reading a phne book - totally soulless. Best intros - good one, will have to give it some thought - best basslines mentioned - Guns of Brixton, Into valley, Peaches. warhead only piece of music can play on guitar (one string only), best punk song - defintely not warhead, Probably 'New Rose'.
