Bit late I know but bass line, intro I like Transmission by Joy Division, sort of punky. Cliff you are spot on with New Rose. I used to drink with the good Captain in the Lion, Thornton Heath. Especially on modern buses the nuts can work loose as they tighten in the same direction as the rotation of the wheel. Those yellow arrows on wheel nuts are designed to indicate when there is a loosening nut. And the driver should check the wheels every day. I am off now to put on my anorak as modelled by Feargal on the OGWT...... Wayne on 19:06 30th-Jan-08 GMT #887-47441 I have to agree. Loose nuts are a real pain and can result in a very uncomfortable ride. I check mine regularly throughout the day, just to be sure. Never noticed any arrows on mine though, must have a closer look when I next adjust them ;) delboy on 20:37 30th-Jan-08 GMT #091-47442 My nuts seem to get looser as they get older. At least they are not rusty yet. hawk on 20:43 30th-Jan-08 GMT #356-47443 Dumpy's Rusty Nuts - A band from early '80'S??? delboy on 20:52 30th-Jan-08 GMT #091-47444 Never heard of them Hawk but they sound good.Reminds me of some of those obscure bands like Neds Atomic Dustbin. hawk on 21:29 30th-Jan-08 GMT #356-47445 Del - I only remember the name - no idea what they were like. An old joke comes to mind: Hey, you've got a face like a spanner. How's that? Everytime I look at you my nuts tighten !! Boom! Boom! (Not advisable to use as a chat-up line) delboy on 21:42 30th-Jan-08 GMT #091-47446 you old romantic hawk donald on 21:56 30th-Jan-08 GMT #dd6-47447 Saw Dumpys Rusty nuts at Stonehenge festival '83 year before 'battle of the beanfields' when Police invaded and battered hell out of everyone on the Convoy.
