Not surprised Jo. When we went there in 1990 it was surrounded by some very weird people. I have the close up photos , the grave itself was covered in very messy candles, beer cans and pet rats. Oscar Wildes wasnt much better- as I recall it was a beautiful tomb spoilt by French graffitti all about Morrissey ;-/

Oscar Wilde is now covered in lipstick kisses. It's all ground into the stone and looks bloody awful. :-( And people have chipped loads of the glass mosaic tiles off Rudolf Nureyev's grave.
