GERRY MC CANDLESS new band. delboy on 20:26 13th-Mar-08 GMT #091-47717 Malcolm Owen RIP.Another great talent that died too young.The Ruts were a great band similar to The Clash with their punk and reggae roots. Wayne on 21:57 13th-Mar-08 GMT [www.youtube.com/watch] #a5c-47718 Didn't see the NME awards but suspect it was the Gallows performing. Saw them about 18 months ago when they supported the MC5 at The Underword in Camden. They, Gallows, weren't my cup of tea, too much pretend attitude for me, but seem to have found favour with the journos. My oldest two sons, have been following them for some time having previously see them play in the back room of a pub in Norwich, and most recently at the UEA(on the NME tour??)
