S Toned - if every a comment deserved a boot in the bollix then that one does. Went to see SLF last year at the Inflammable Material Anniversary Belfast gig and was seriously disappointed. Apart from the fact that they guy that they got to replace Henry Clooney looks like some dude who should be tapping you for change on a street corner, Jake Burns had to be the most out of place looking front man I have ever seen. He looked like my da trying to be a rock star and I am not referring to his age. He just was so uncool it was sad. While they did have some great material at times in the past, as a band they appear about as genuine as Michael Jacksons nose. And don't even get me started on the stupid matching shirts. Very very sad indeed and I am speaking as someone who actually likes alot of their music.

By the way a sign of just how uncool they always really were can be seen by what Henry Cluney is doing now. He currently plays in a two piece wedding band!!! Punk rock till the end!!!

You all? Think that was just me.

I am not be able to make Belfast. My son will become champions in his junior football league this saturday. So a dad has to be there and take part in the celebrations incl a ride through our village. It already looked all season that this saturday will be the decisive match. Artur, you put up a great programme and I should have been there as a great goodvibes fan who has almost all the music published on this great label. It is all great stuff, terry put us up with, incl his own solo-efoort which I found for 2 euros , originally signed bu himself. Have a great time and sad I cant be there

My Brothers Eddie & the Hot Rods book is released this weekend.The band are playing in Southend on Friday so the book goes on sale there and then theres a book signing including the original members at Waterstones on Saturday.
