Barring freak results on Sunday, Albion are already promoted.Hull are 3rd and 3 points behind with 1 match left, but Albion are 13 goals better off; So unless something like this happens;QPR 7 Albion 0 and also Ipswich 0 Hull 6...Albion are promoted..bear in mind also that Ipswich need the points to make the play-offs and have the best home record in the division.

In reality we deserve to get relegated, we have been poor for a large part of the season, only Leicester have been poor against us, in both games. so in reality.... both are poor teams and both deserve to go down, but we are fighting each other to stay out of that last relegation spot. We have sold out StMarys.... 32,500 the biggest attendance in the Championship this season..... COME ON YOU SAINTS!!!

Sold out for Sunday fine, but 7/800 tickets sent back on Monday night for a vital match at the Hawthorns surprised me.

Hi Cliff - Must admit the 7/800 returned tickets did suprise me! Mind you, I had a ticket for the Saturday, but when they switched it for Live TV on a Monday night, then I had to cancel it due to work. And I think there would have been many like me! 'Big Club' Not meant that we are in the same league as Newcastle, Liverpool etc. ...but a city of 300,000 with a huge catchment areas and a huge database of fans on the register. We are a big club in the realms of spending the last 30+ years in the top flight consistently, and fallen from the top in the last couple of years. We are the biggest club South Of Birmingham (and outside London), and to see a Big City club like Saints struggle financially and in football terms too, based on the entertaining football we have played over the decades, is so hard to take! I am just feeling hurt at the moment, and the words are hard to get out when the emotion takes over.... sorry to bore the rest of you....

Listen, I've had tears in my eyes more times over the last 6/7 years than my entire life where Albion are concerned.Passion is what football is all about and I really hope Southampton do survive, they are a good club, I went to the Dell a few times over the years.Should add I had a tear in my eye several times when the Undertones played at the Mean Fiddler in 2000...ahhh the good ol'days!!
