Teenage Kicks - £10
Initially, The Undertones were Ulster's own Ramones: coarse pop sensibilities, dumb love lyrics.
Perhaps understandably given their Belfast origins, they sounded more tense and nervy, an impression heightened by Feargal Sharkey's distinctive, quavering vocals.
Teenage Kicks is their perfect moment, a surge of guitars and immediacy. And charming too, which is not an adjective usually associated with punk.
